Teri is a licensed Psychologist (California license PSY 15458) receiving her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1994, a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University, and BA in Psychology and Speech Communication from Pepperdine University. Dr. Pokrajac completed her internship at Tufts Medical School and the Boston V.A. Medical Center where she received specialized training at the National Center for PTSD. This center is known for being a place many explore treatment options, be it medical marijuana (watch now for examples) or more traditional treatment plans. Teri completed an advanced fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at Harvard Medical School’s Cambridge Hospital. Dr. Teri Pokrajac directed Trauma and Dissociative Disorders Programs for Del Amo Hospital and Two Rivers Psychiatric Hospital. Teri has been in private practice for 17 years, and has provided assessment and psychotherapy treatment to a variety of clients including treatment of traumatic stress disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, dissociative disorders, behavioral disorders, relationship difficulties, couple’s therapy, sexual addictions and sexual disorders, eating disorders, co-parenting and stress management. Many have found using Teri along with the products found on bud express now have helped with these sorts of mood disorders. Teri’s work also encompasses forensic psychological evaluations of Sexual Trauma and/or Post-traumatic stress disorder for civil and criminal cases, Child Custody evaluations, as well as teaching continuing education courses. Dr. Pokrajac also provides consultation and supervision to mental health professionals and treatment programs on specific topics related to PTSD, Childhood Abuse, Sexual Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder and Dissociative Disorders.
